Cost of Living & Visa
International students must apply for a D3 Student Visa, which is issued for educational purposes and allows students to study at accredited Georgian universities.
Student visa applications are usually processed within 10–30 working days, depending on the embassy and application method.
Applicants typically need a valid passport, university admission letter, academic certificates, financial proof, health insurance, and completed visa application form.
The student visa is generally issued for 90 days initially, after which students must obtain a residence permit for longer stays.

Complete the university application form and upload required documents like passport copy and academic certificates.
If eligible, the university sends a conditional admission letter within a few days after document review.
Your documents are verified and approved by the Georgian Ministry of Education, which usually takes 2–4 weeks.
After approval, the university issues the final acceptance letter allowing you to proceed with visa application or travel arrangements.
Students from visa-required countries apply for a D3 student visa using the admission letter and supporting documents.
