International students must apply for a D3 Student Visa, which is issued for educational purposes and allows students to study at accredited Georgian universities.
Student visa applications are usually processed within 10–30 working days, depending on the embassy and application method.
Applicants typically need a valid passport, university admission letter, academic certificates, financial proof, health insurance, and completed visa application form.
The student visa is generally issued for 90 days initially, after which students must obtain a residence permit for longer stays.
