Short Course in Machine Learning & Data Analytics
Program Overview
This intensive three-month short course provides a practical introduction to machine learning and data analytics, designed for working professionals and students who want to quickly develop skills in one of the most in-demand fields in technology. The course covers essential concepts in statistics, data preprocessing, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization, with hands-on projects using Python, scikit-learn, and TensorFlow.
Participants work on real-world datasets and complete a capstone project that demonstrates their ability to apply machine learning techniques to solve practical business problems. The course is delivered primarily online with optional weekly in-person lab sessions at our Dubai campus for students who prefer face-to-face interaction.

Participants will be able to clean and preprocess data, perform exploratory data analysis, build and evaluate machine learning models, visualize data effectively, and communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders.
Online video lectures, interactive coding exercises, Jupyter notebook assignments, peer review, weekly live Q&A sessions, optional in-person lab sessions, and a final capstone project presentation.

Weeks 1-4: Python for Data Science, Statistics Refresher, Data Collection & Cleaning, Exploratory Data Analysis, Data Visualization with Matplotlib & Seaborn

General Information
The course is delivered fully online with weekly live sessions on Saturdays (optional in-person attendance in Dubai). Participants should expect to dedicate 10-15 hours per week to coursework. All materials are accessible through our learning management system.
